Vinicius Monteiro de Lira

Graduate Fellow at High Performance Computing Lab at the Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie dell’Informazione, National Research Council of Italy (ISTI-CNR). Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in Brazil. Current as Ph.D. Student (started on 03/2015) also at the UFPE with joint supervision by the University of Pisa. The research activities carried by Mr Monteiro de Lira regard mainly algorithms for improving efficiency in Ride-Sharing Systems and Machine Learning approaches for inferring transportation demands to large events using Social Media.
